Twenty-four years ago, I was digging the first bed of my new garden when a butterfly landed on my flowered shirt, looking for something to eat. I made a solemn promise that I would create a garden for it to live in and thrive. I documented the process of creating a habitat for all creatures using video, photography, and blogging to capture and share the beauty and diversity of life in the garden. Then I began to teach others how to create their own personal garden sanctuaries.
I create award winning garden videos, I develop and teach classes on garden design and videography for a variety of organizations, including Phipps Conservatory and GardenComm, I make garden presentations online and throughout the U.S., and I publish a blog called Composer in the Garden.
